tom hanks was great as Captain Phillips the pirate leader was great also .the move was very good .it was slow at times but over all worth the look.I cant see why cargo ships dont have armed merchant marines on them .I see the merchant marines academy in kings park and have asked that question .they are not armed at all had do not train with weapons but they wear military uniforms .they are not part of the military at all .this never seems silly to me 4 pirates can hold a cargo ship because there is no escort in dangerous waters .
