Young D'Artagnan seeks to become a Musketeer and gets more than he bargained for, as he is drawn into a battle to save the royal throne in 17th century France.

In this 1993 re-telling of the story of young D'Artagnan (played by a young Chris O'Donnell) and his journey to become -- like his late father before him -- a member of the King's elite, albeit defunct guard, the Musketeers.

Along the way, D'Artagnan meets titular Musketeers Aramis, Athos & Porthos (played convincingly by Charlie Sheen, Kiefer Sutherland & Oliver Platt), and together, they thwart a plan by the sinister Cardinal Richelieu (Tim Curry) to kill King Louis of France & then assume the throne.

A fast-paced, action-packed movie from start to finish, the cast also includes Rebecca DeMornay as the duplicitous Lady DeWinter, a young and very beautiful Gabrielle Anwar as Queen Anne, and Hugh O'Conor as Louis.
